Vehicle Protection Introduction:
Bare surfaces on your vehicle are exposed to a variety of damaging elements, including water stains, bird droppings, debris buildup, brake dust, rail dust, and even scratches and scuffs caused by improper washing or drying methods.

The solution? Vehicle and paint protection.
This comes in various forms, including wax, sealants, Ceramic Coatings, and Paint Protection Film (PPF) to name a few; each offering different levels of durability, protection, and suitability for specific needs.
We aim to help you choose the best solution for you and your vehicle.

Ceramic Coating FAQ:

Q: What is a Ceramic Coating, how does it work, and what can you apply it to?
A: The short answer is it's a long-term protective application for your paint, trim, glass, wheels, and even interior surfaces. It helps your vehicle stay cleaner for longer while making maintenance easier.
The long answer is that a ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your vehicle’s paint to create a durable, hydrophobic protective layer. It is primarily composed of silicon dioxide (SiOâ‚‚), typically sourced from quartz or synthetic compounds.
When applied, the coating undergoes a curing process, forming a covalent bond with the surface (a "ceramic coating").
This results in a semi-permanent layer that enhances gloss, repels water, resists oxidation, and protects against contaminants like dirt, chemicals, and UV rays.
Unlike waxes and sealants, ceramic coatings do not wash away easily and can last for years with proper maintenance.
For owners seeking long-term protection with easy upkeep, ceramic coatings provide exceptional durability while maintaining a deep, high-gloss finish.

Q: How long does a ceramic coating last?
A: In my experience, coating longevity is highly dependent on the vehicles care cycle and exposure to the elements. Mileage and care are the main determining factor here.
A daily-driven vehicle that's kept outdoors but maintains a regular wash cycle could see anywhere between 3-5 years of durability. In contrast, a garage kept collector vehicle with minimal exposure to the elements could see a coating last indefinitely.
Most consumer and professional grade coatings on the market advertise 3-5 years of protection, while some claim up to 10 years or more.
However, real-world results vary based on maintenance, environmental conditions, and the quality of the initial application.
With our ceramic coating service, we stand behind our work with a straight forward, in-house 3 or 5 year warranty.*

Q: What's included, what's the process, and how long does the service take?
A: From start to finish, a typical Ceramic Coating service takes 36-48 hours.
Additional paint correction, vehicle preparation, or detailing may extend this timeframe, which we will identify during the initial vehicle evaluation.
Our Ceramic Coating package begins with "The Clean Slate" Detail, a complete reset and decontamination of all vehicle surfaces. This ensures that no contaminants interfere with the bonding process.
Next, we move on to paint correction. Since ceramic coatings chemically bond to the surface, any imperfections (such as swirls, scratches, or oxidation) will be sealed beneath them. To achieve the best results, we assess your vehicle’s condition and recommend the appropriate level of paint correction before application.
(see more on Paint Correction)
Once your clear coat has been properly corrected and refined, we proceed with the Ceramic Coating application. After application, a 24-hour curing period is required before the vehicle can be driven.
